1,000 startup ideas and products showcased at Techfest Quang Nam

Nearly 1,000 startup ideas and products as well as “One commune, One product” (OCOP) and rural industrial products are being showcased at the fourth Techfest Quang Nam, which opened in Tam Ky, central Quang Nam province, on August 24.

Such products come from over 200 businesses and cooperatives in 20 cities and provinces nationwide.

Open until August 26, Techfest Quang Nam is a national event aimed at implementing targets from the government’s startup master plan and contributing to raising awareness about the role of science and technology and innovation in socio-economic development, according to Deputy Minister of Science and Technology Le Xuan Dinh.

It is also an opportunity to boost links and the application of digital technology in introducing and displaying startup products, OCOP products, and rural industrial products from Quang Nam and other localities, he said.

A High-level Forum on Promoting the Innovative Startup Ecosystem in Quang Nam 2023 was held on August 24 on the sidelines of the event.
