Animal feed industry posts trade deficit

Vietnam’s livestock industry exported animal feed and raw materials worth $1.5 billion in 2021. Imports of raw materials for animal feed production, meanwhile, totaled $4.9 billion, up 29 per cent against 2020. The feed industry therefore posted a trade deficit some $3.4 billion.
