Deputy Minister of Transport Le Anh Tuan has asked the investor and contractors in the Nhon Trach Bridge project to quicken construction to ensure progress remains on schedule.

The bridge will connect Nhon Trach district in southern Dong Nai province with Ho Chi Minh City’s Thu Duc city.

Construction of the bridge is the main part of sub-project A1 of the Tan Van - Nhon Trach section of the Ring Road No. 3 project in Ho Chi Minh City. The section is 8.75 km long, passing through Dong Nai and Ho Chi Minh City.

Investment in the bridge and access roads to the Ring Road No. 3 project is estimated at over VND2.45 trillion ($102 million).

Construction of the Tan Van - Nhon Trach section kicked off on September 24, 2022. So far, the bridge is 46 per cent completed. The entire section is expected to be completed within three years.
