Since the beginning of the year, 148 foreign social networking service providers, including Google, Meta, Microsoft, TikTok, etc., have registered, declared, and paid taxes via E-Portals, with a cumulative amount paid totalling VND2.832 trillion ($109.3 million).

Regarding tax management of e-commerce business, the Tax Department reported that in the first quarter of 2025, tax revenue from e-commerce business reached VND34.5 trillion ($1.3 billion), an increase of 19% compared to the same period last year.

Currently, 66,000 business households and individuals have registered for tax, declared, and paid taxes via the E-commerce Portal for business households, contributing nearly VND548 billion ($21.1 million) to the State budget.
