Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has requested to mobilize all resources to develop science and technology while chairing a conference in Hanoi on February 11.

The conference was aimed at discussing key tasks and solutions to contribute to the GDP growth target of 8% this year; and implementing the Resolution No.57-NQ/TW, a landmark policy document issued by the Politburo on breakthrough developments in science, technology, innovation, and national digital transformation. 

PM Chinh specifically urged for breakthrough solutions regarding institutions, resources mobilization, infrastructure, and human resources for science-tech and innovation development.

The Government will present a resolution to the National Assembly at the upcoming session to address challenges in scientific and technological development, he said, adding that proposed amendments to the Law on Science and Technology will be submitted to the NA's session in May 2025, aiming to create a more conducive market environment for innovation and growth.
