The construction of Van Ly Bridge over the Thu Bon River in central Quang Nam province got underway on September 16, with total investment of VND575 billion ($23.95 million).

Of this, VND420 billion ($17.5 million) is from the State budget and the remainder from the provincial budget.

The 460-meter bridge will connect Dien Ban commune and Dai Loc district.

Construction of the bridge and the 7.78-km approach road is expected to be completed in March, 2026.

Director of the province’s transportation work construction investment project management board, Nguyen Thanh Tam, said that upon completion, the bridge will help complete the local infrastructure network, linking the two banks of the Thu Bon River and creating better conditions for goods transport, boosting the province’s socio-economic development.
