The northern mountainous province aspires to become a gateway and central hub for goods transportation, warehousing, logistics, trade, finance, entertainment, and healthcare, among others.

Northern Bac Giang Province has set ambitious targets for its service sector development over the 2024-2030 period, aiming to attract 5-7 comprehensive service and logistics projects and 3 dry port projects by 2030.

Additionally, it targets an average annual growth of 8-10% in goods and passenger transportation volume.

The recently-issued Resolution No 371-NQ/TU of the provincial Party Committee outlines a vision to develop a synchronized, modern, competitive, and high-quality service sector, focusing on commercial services, transportation and logistics, finance and banking, tourism, night-time economy, sports, culture, healthcare, education, and high-quality vocational training.

Bac Giang aspires to become a gateway and central hub for goods transportation, warehousing, logistics, trade, finance, entertainment, healthcare, education, and high-quality vocational training in the northern midlands and mountainous region.

To achieve these goals, the province aims for an average annual growth rate of 7.5-8.5% for the service sector during the 2024-2030 period, with the sector's contribution to the province's GRDP reaching 21-22% by 2030.

In the tourism sector, Bac Giang will focus on developing integrated tourism services, including entertainment, accommodation, and resorts. The province aims to attract investment in two-, three-, and four-star hotels and establish at least one large-scale entertainment complex. The target for tourist arrivals in 2030 is over 7.5 million visitors.

To enhance the quality of life for residents and attract visitors, the province will establish at least two night-time economic service zones in Bac Giang City and Viet Yen Town.
