Cam Lam to develop into world-class airport urban area

The Cam Lam New Urban Area in south-central Khanh Hoa province will be developed into a modern, ecological, and world-class “airport urban area” under the urban area master plan to 2045 approved by the government.

It will cover over 54,719 ha.

Cam Lam is expected to become an innovation center and will focus on promoting finance, trade and services, education and training, and high-tech research and manufacturing.

It will also be developed into a national entertainment and tourism center and a sustainable urban area with the development of green technology.

Its population is tipped to reach 320,000 by 2030 and 770,000 by 2045.
