Central Retail has opened a new mini go! supermarket in Dien Ban town in Dien Ban district, central Quang Nam province.

On 2,000 sq m, the mini go! supermarket was built under a new model and includes full utilities and meets all needs, from basic to advanced, from food items and necessities to consumer goods and entertainment.

Mr. Tran Uc, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the People’s Committee of Dien Ban town, said it is a town with great potential for socio-economic development towards trade and services. “The presence of the mini go! supermarket will contribute to changing the appearance of the district, making it become a modern shopping and entertainment destination and contributing to improving the material and spiritual lives of local people,” he added. “We hope that supermarkets will also be a driving force of socio-economic development in Dien Ban district.”

Mr. Olivier Langlet, General Director of Central Retail Vietnam, said the mini go! supermarket is its sixth in Vietnam and its presence will create 100 stable jobs, both full-time and part-time.

“Its opening marks an important milestone in Central Retail’s business and investment expansion in Vietnam in general and in Quang Nam province in particular,” he said. “In addition to the success of go! Da Nang and mini go! Tam Ky, the appearance of mini go! Dien Ban, our second in Quang Nam province, is testament to our confidence in the investment and business environment in Vietnam.”

Central Retail officially entered Vietnam in 2012 and has contributed to the country’s socio-economic development and prosperity while improving quality of life. It has a network of more than 340 shopping malls and stores in 40 major cities and provinces, with a total retail area of more than 1 million sq m.
