Central Thanh Hoa province's tourism revenue expected at over $1bln in 6M

Central Thanh Hoa province is estimated to welcome over 10.48 million tourists in the first half of the year, increasing 7.3% compared to the same period last year.

The number of international visitors is expected at 307,300,  a 17.7% increase year-on-year.

Total tourism revenue is projected to reach over VND26.34 trillion (over $1 billion), marking a year-on-year rise of 32.8%. Revenue from international tourists is expected to contribute nearly  $165 million.

In 2024, the province welcomed more than 15.3 million holiday makers, soaring 22.5% year-on-year. Total tourism turnover reached over VND33.8 trillion ($1.29 billion), up 38% compared to the previous year.
