The subdivision spans approximately 3,770 ha, situated at the central city's southern gateway.
The Da Nang People's Committee has approved the planning for an Urban Innovation Subdivision, encompassing parts of Ngu Hanh Son, Cam Le, and Hoa Vang districts.
The subdivision spans approximately 3,770 ha, situated at the central city's southern gateway where National Highway 1A intersects Nam Ky Khoi Nghia Street. It borders Quang Nam province.
The planned area will include a university training center, an innovation center, a software park, and a regional-level medical center.
A key component of the subdivision is the Da Nang University Village, a hub for education, training, and interdisciplinary scientific research. The village is designed to promote smart and green urban development.
The planning prioritizes infrastructure development and upgrades to major traffic routes. Key projects include the university village, a riverside urban area near the Cau Do water plant, and a creative space in Hoa Xuan ward.
The Da Nang innovation subdivision is expected to have a population of approximately 233,000 by 2030.
