Da Nang sets up steering committee on financial center development

Central Da Nang city authorities have decided to set up a steering committee on the construction and development of a regional financial center in the city.

The committee is headed by Secretary of the city’s Party Committee Nguyen Van Quang.

The committee will help the local authorities to direct the implementation of the Politburo Conclusion No. 47 on building regional and international financial centers in Vietnam and the Government Resolution on issuing an action plan to implement the Conclusion.

It will focus investment resources on developing infrastructure and build plans to mobilize different resources to develop the financial center.

The committee will coordinate with relevant agencies to building related legal documents and set up an apparatus to manage the financial center.

It is also responsible for building and implementing plans to develop human resources for the financial center, and allocate State budget and mobilize social sources to hire domestic and foreign consultants and experts in the process of developing the financial enter.

It is also in charge of promoting investment for the financial center.
