DIGI-TEXX Vietnam picks up Top 10 Sao Khue Award 2023

Overcoming more than 330 nominations, DIGI-XTRACT, the automated data extraction solution from DIGI-TEXX Vietnam, has won a Top 10 Sao Khue Award 2023 from the Vietnam Software and IT Services Association (VINASA).

This year’s awards attracted 331 nominations honoring 182 platforms from 128 companies, with ten companies receiving a prestigious Top 10 Sao Khue Award 2023.

After going through multiple rounds of strict examinations by a national panel, the AI- powered extraction solution DIGI-XTRACT was selected for a Top 10 Sao Khue 2023 Award - a special prize for the ten most outstanding software and IT services. The award is presented based on criteria in innovative and advanced technology, compatibility with market trends, and the potential to become a key pillar in the national IT industry.

As an Optical Character Recognition (OCR) solution, DIGI-XTRACT can perform document classification, data extraction, and quality control for various document types, including hand-written text. Developed by DIGI-TEXX with advanced technology including AI, Big Data, Deep Learning, and a Natural Language Processing platform, the solution automatically recognizes and sorts different document types through the AutoClassify component, detecting accurate document types based on vectorization and Big Data analysis. The system then routes the documents to the AutoExtract component to extract data with the highest accuracy.

With predefined data fields, the AutoExtract component picks up the correct data field on the image and processes the extraction securely based on the snipped image. Therefore, full information on client documents will not be seen or shared, to help eliminate the risk of data theft. AutoExtract produces a confidence score for each data field. The score can then be used to determine the quality of the extraction in the rule sets of the AutoQC component.

Unlike traditional quality control methods that require human involvement, AutoQC distributes data into different levels and monitors them at different stages to detect potential errors. With the score obtained, AutoQC determines if the data can be passed or needs to be transferred to the data correction stage to improve accuracy. During this process, DIGI-XTRACT applies AI and Big Data to learn and improve the exact engine algorithm, making it better over time.

DIGI-XTRACT was highly praised by the Judging Panel for solving the security concerns of businesses when processing large volumes of personal documents. Moreover, DIGI-XTRACT can process data remotely at DIGI-TEXX’s Data Center or be deployed immediately at customers’ facilities to comply with data protection regulations in tough markets such as Europe, the US, and Japan.

In addition to the Top 10 Sao Khue 2023 Award, DIGI-TEXX also received two Sao Khue Awards for exemplary Digital Services and Business Support Services. Three solutions and services being honored at the awards is testament to DIGI-TEXX’s sustainable strategy in supporting global businesses in their comprehensive digital transformation journey.
