Draft decree on sea encroachment expected shortly

Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha has asked relevant ministries and agencies to promptly complete a draft decree regulating sea encroachment and another guiding the implementation of the Land Law.

Regarding the draft decree regulating sea encroachment, the Deputy Prime Minister said it was necessary to carefully review legal foundations and the recent implementation of certain sea encroachment projects to finalize the decree towards administrative procedure simplification and close supervision in conformity with related laws.

The decree should create conditions for the implementation of sea encroachment projects in line with regulated standards and procedures, said Mr. Ha.

Concerning the draft decree guiding the implementation of the Land Law, he said any amendments and supplementations to some articles of the decree must ensure the interests of people, businesses, and the State.
