FMCG spending to reach new peak during Q3
The ongoing Covid-19 outbreak will lead to a longer period of social distancing compared to last year, thereby boosting the trend towards buying and storing fresh food, with sales of fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) to reach a new high in the third quarter, according to the Viet Dragon Joint Stock Company (VDSC). Conversely, consumers will tighten spending on consumer electronics and personal entertainment.
