McDonald’s Vietnam introduces new burger line
Vietnam to become the fifth country in Asia to sell the new burger line.
Since first being sold in South Korea, Hong Kong (China), Malaysia, and Singapore, McDonald’s upgraded core product, Burger Big Mac, has garnered countless compliments from customers, media, celebrities, and KOLs. The most praise has been for the beef’s impressive flavor, bold characteristics, deliciousness, freshness, and attractive aroma.
“The ‘rain of compliments’ was due to the change of 16 details in the processing of new burgers from McDonald’s,” a McDonald’s representative said. In order to match customers’ liking for the brand’s flagship product, McDonald’s always listens to and refines its offerings. And this is one of the major product improvements made on a global scale.
The special feature of McDonald’s burger lines, regardless of the recipe, has always been the uniformity of quality. That means you can visit any McDonald’s in any country and get burgers with these same gold standards.
New burger products have been introduced in countries such as South Korea, Hong Kong (China), Malaysia, and Singapore, and after a trial period have been officially available in all Vietnam McDonald’s stores from April 2.
“McDonald’s Vietnam is the fifth market in Asia to launch the new product line,” the representative said. “Hence, Vietnamese diners no longer need to travel abroad to enjoy our golden signature dishes.”
According to McDonald’s experts, while these gold standards may seem trivial, they are actually vital game changers when you cook. For example, the recipes for the dough, baking time, and art of mixing ingredients, etc., need to be precisely aligned and the ingredients used in the right proportions.
Some adjustments in the upgrading of the brand’s traditional production line include 100 per cent Australian beef, grilled just right on the griddle, being now reduced with onions to extract the sweetness of the onions and spices, lending flavor to the taste, while the timing for the cheese to melt is also fine-tuned. In particular, the crust recipe has been completely changed and the baking time has also been adjusted to 22 seconds so that the crust is more fragrant, soft, chewy, and rich, making the darker golden-brown shade look glossy and “high quality”. Green vegetables are shipped from Dalat and stored at the right temperature to bring out the finest taste.
“There are many more detailed changes in the processing and the combination of ingredients that you won’t be able to see in the final product, but all of those seemingly small changes make a significant difference in your experience,” according to the McDonald’s representative. “We believe that to bring customers the best experience with McDonald’s signature burger, no detail is negligible.”
The new McDonald’s burger line is out in the market nationwide. To mark the launch, McDonald’s is offering a discount of up to 50 per cent on the iconic Big Mac from April 10 to April 23, applicable to dine-in customers, McDelivery delivery service, and thousands of customers.
