Quang Tri province boasts potential for energy, industrial development: Top leader

Central Quang Tri province boasts huge potential and advantages, particularly its strategic transportation links connecting the North-South and East-West corridors, energy development and industrial development, according to Party General Secretary and State President To Lam.

The top léader made the comment during a working session with the standing board of the Quang Tri provincial Party Committee on October 16 to review the implementation of the Resolutions of the provincial Party congresses at all provincial levels, with focus on socio-economic development, national defence-security, Party and political system building.

However, the province still faces challenges posed by climate change, natural disasters, and increasing competition, which have hindered the province’s development, according to the leader.

In order to fulfill set targets, he suggested the province to strive more to improve the business and investment environment, enhance competitiveness, boost administrative reform and attract qualified investment.
