Quang Tri province's GRDP up nearly 7% in 9M

Central Quang Tri province posted a GRDP growth rate of 6.88% in the first three quarters of the year, according to the provincial Statistics Office.

Production value of the agro-forestry and fisheries sector increased 3.04% year-on-year, the industry-construction sector 10% and the services sector 7.4%.

The province’s Index of Industrial Production (IIP) surged 7.7% compared to the same period last year. Of which, the processing and manufacturing industry rose 9.4%, electricity production and distribution 5.4% and mining 3.5%.

Trade activities expanded rapidly in the nine-month period with total retail sales of consumer goods and services reaching over VND38.7 trillion ($1.54 billion), up 11.5% year-on-year.
