Techcombank sponsors 7th Singapore Regional Business Forum
Sponsoring the Forum is a source of pride for Techcombank as it celebrates its 30th anniversary.

The Singapore Regional Business Forum (SRBF), with the theme “Strengthening Regional Collaboration for Sustainable Growth”, will take place in Hanoi on July 7.
The Forum is being held to mark 50 years of bilateral cooperation between Vietnam and Singapore and ten years of their strategic partnership, and creates a foundation for deeper links between the business communities of both sides.
Techcombank is honored to be one of two Platinum Sponsors of the Forum.
It will bring together more than 500 leaders from the business and political fields, including plenary sessions, panel discussions, dialogue with political officials, and business networking sessions. Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh will be in attendance and deliver an address.
As a Platinum sponsor, Techcombank expects to share its vision of “Transforming the financial industry, enhancing the value of life” and its pioneering mission of leading the banking industry’s digital transformation journey based on the three pillars of “Digitalization, Data, Talent”.
Speaking at the press conference on the Forum on June 28, Mr. Jens Lottner, CEO of Techcombank, said accompanying the gathering is a source of pride for Techcombank, contributing to the 50th anniversary of bilateral relations and the tenth anniversary of the strategic partnership between Vietnam and Singapore.
“Techcombank is also celebrating its 30th anniversary, and together we are continuing to create further outstanding success, realizing our mission of leading the transformation of Vietnam’s banking industry as well as being a pioneer in regional connectivity,” Mr. Lottner added. “Together with an extensive network of partners, we promote creativity, spread knowledge, and constantly push the boundaries of success. We look forward to the results achieved together at the Forum.”
In the challenging post-pandemic economic landscape, with many market fluctuations and risk of supply chain disruptions, Techcombank constantly accompanies businesses to ensure smooth transaction flows and optimize main operating costs.
The bank focuses on investing in digital platforms and dedicates resources to cloud-based transformation initiatives. This enables it to deliver a seamless banking experience and a superior customer experience. The entire customer journey with Techcombank is digitized and personalized in real time both in-person and online.
To realize its goals in digital and data transformation, “Talent” is considered an important pillar.
Techcombank employees underwent more than 900,000 training hours in 2022, or 70 training hours per employee, through e-learning courses and face-to-face training.
Through cooperation with Amazon Web Services (AWS), some 2,800 Techcombank employees have been trained in cloud technology, with 250 international certifications issued by AWS.
Techcombank is also the first Vietnamese bank to organize Overseas Talent Roadshows in the world’s leading financial centers, such as Singapore, London, San Francisco, and Sydney, to invite Vietnamese talent with international experience to return home and accompany the bank on its transformation journey.
2023 marks the 30th anniversary of the bank’s establishment, on its journey to becoming the leading private bank in Vietnam and on par with the region.
It is currently the only bank in Vietnam to be awarded the title of “Best Bank 2023” by the Financial Asia international organization. The Asian Banker magazine honored it as “The Best Cash Management and Transaction Bank in Vietnam” for three consecutive years, and leading bank in the “Best Collection Management Solution via Virtual Account” and “Best Supply Chain Financing Bank in Vietnam in 2022”.
These awards are determined based on banks’ contributions in the digital transformation journey and their support for businesses in the face of unpredictable economic fluctuations, in addition to traditional criteria such as size, total assets, and profits.
