Thanh Hoa to build new urban area
Total investment estimated at $38.3 million.
North-central Thanh Hoa province plans to build a new urban area in Thieu Hoa town with total investment of more than VND906 billion ($38.3 million).
Vice Chairman of the Thanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee Mai Xuan Liem has signed a decision approving the detailed planning for the Phu Hung urban area.
Of the total investment, VND834.35 billion ($35.3 million) will be invested in building the project while the remainder will go to site clearance and resettlement works.
The urban area will cover 143.2 ha and have a total population of 13,200.
It will feature an administrative and political center, cultural and sports venues, parks, schools, commercial centers, and a housing area, including 231 social houses.
