The People's Committee of the north central province of Thanh Hoa has officially approved a master plan for Subdivision G in Sam Son city, designating the area as a hub for housing, services, culture, sports, and urban green spaces.

Subdivision G is situated within the administrative boundaries of Truong Son, Bac Son, Trung Son, Quang Tien, and Quang Cu wards, covering a total planned area of approximately 516.86 ha.

The subdivision is envisioned as a tourism, commercial services, and urban center, with its primary functions including: a sports and physical training zone, an urban residential area, a tourism service area, and an entertainment and recreation zone.

By 2040, the population of Subdivision G is projected to reach approximately 65,000, marking an increase of over 25,000 people compared to current figures.

Investment capital will be mobilized from three key sources: State budget, Official Development Assistance (ODA) funds, and socialized funding from private sector and community contributions.

The provincial budget will prioritize technical infrastructure, environmental treatment, water supply, transportation, and tourist zones, while non-state capital will focus on housing, tourism services, and entertainment facilities.

Once completed, Subdivision G will emerge as a modern, multifunctional complex, enhancing Sam Son city’s urban landscape while serving as a catalyst for tourism-driven economic growth in Thanh Hoa province.
