Thua Thien-Hue seeking investors to build urban area and trade center

The central province of Thua Thien-Hue is calling for investors to build an urban area and a trade, services, and accommodation complex with total estimated investment of over VND8.1 trillion ($332 million).

The trade, services, and accommodation complex will cover more than 182,600 sq m in the province capital Hue.

It will feature 160 low-rise buildings and 2,100 commercial apartments, housing some 9,000 people in total.

Investors are required to set aside 2.47 ha of the sub-project’s land area for the building of social housing.

Total investment in the sub-project is estimated at VND4.123 trillion ($168 million).

Construction must not take any longer than five years.

The urban area, meanwhile, will cover 51.6 ha in Hue and Huong Thuy town. Total investment is estimated at over VND4 trillion ($163 million).

Its maximum construction time is eight years.
