Vietnam-Russia trade turnover tops $375.4 mln in January
Export value reaching $179.45 million.

Two-way trade turnover between Vietnam and Russia in January reached $375.39 million, down 10.4% year-on-year, figures from the General Department of Vietnam Customs show.
Of the total, Vietnam’s export to Russia contributed $179.45 million, a year-on-year reduction of 19.3%. Meanwhile, its import value was estimated at $195.94 million, dropping 0.4%.
Some of products that recorded export value growth to Russia included footwear with over $1 million, up nearly 350% year-on-year; sport equipment $1.2 million, 229%; tea $1.23 million, 49%; and pepper $1.62 million, 59%.
Last year, the two-way trade revenue reached $4.59 billion, soaring 26.4% year-on-year. Of which, Vietnam’s export to Russia amounted to $2.34 billion, up 34.5% year-on-year; and import value stood at $2.25 billion, jumping 19%.
