Vinh Phuc keen on US investment in electric vehicles

A group of US businesses operating in the field of electric vehicle (EV) production, lithium batteries, and green industry plan to visit northern Vinh Phuc province to study the market and seek investment opportunities.

The news was revealed at a working session between a delegation from Vinh Phuc province and the law firm Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP, which has 20 offices around the world and over 1,800 attorneys with extensive legal experience and skills.

The working session was held as part of activities by the provincial delegation during its visit to the US from March 27 to April 1 to attract investors.

Speaking at the meeting, Secretary of the Vinh Phuc Provincial Party Committee Hoang Thi Thuy Lan said she hopes the law firm will become a bridge between US investors and the province.

Vinh Phuc will continue to conduct investment promotion activities in countries with strengths in technology and financial potential, especially the US, she said.
