AMD group seeks investment opportunities in Binh Duong province

A senior executive of US Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) group has had a working session with authorities of Binh Duong province to seek investment opportunities in the southern locality.

During the meeting with Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Bui Minh Tri, Mr. Ryan Sim, Senior Director, Sales, Asia Pacific and Japan of AMD, said the group wishes to cooperate with Binh Duong in such fields as high technology and scientific and technological development.

Vice Chairman Tri said Binh Duong gives priority to attracting investment in the fields of high technology, semiconductor, green energy, green economy and circular economy.

He welcomed the AMD group and proposed the two sides to promote cooperation in high technology, semiconductor and human resources training to meet the province’s development and integration demand.

Founded in 1969, AMD is a global leader in semiconductor design, producing central processing units, graphics processing units, and integrated chips.
