Construction begins on Bao Loc – Lien Khuong expressway
This expressway marks the final component of the Dau Giay–Lien Khuong expressway, one of 10 key national routes in southern Vietnam, linking Ho Chi Minh City, Dong Nai, Bao Loc, and Da Lat.

The Lam Dong Provincial People’s Committee held a groundbreaking ceremony on June 29 for Phase 1 of the Bao Loc–Lien Khuong expressway project, developed under a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model.
This expressway project marks the final component of the Dau Giay–Lien Khuong expressway, one of 10 key national routes in southern Vietnam, linking Ho Chi Minh City, Dong Nai, Bao Loc, and Da Lat.
The Bao Loc–Lien Khuong expressway will stretch nearly 74 km, beginning in Loc Phat Ward, Bao Loc City, and ending at its connection with the Lien Khuong–Prenn expressway, a gateway to Da Lat City.
The road will feature four lanes, with a 17-meter-wide roadbed in Phase 1.
The project is being executed through a Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT) contract with a total investment of VND 17,718 billion (approximately $680.5 million).
Construction is expected to take 30 months, after which the expressway will be operated with toll collection for 19 years and 10 months before being handed over to the State.
Mr. Tran Hong Thai, Chairman of the Lam Dong Provincial People’s Committee, remarked that the commencement of this project fulfills the long-held aspirations of successive generations of leaders and residents in the province, representing a major milestone in the province’s transport and development strategy.
