Event connects over 60 suppliers in North Central Vietnam with international businesses
The event attracted 15 international enterprises from China, Japan, Laos, Thailand, the United Kingdom, and the UAE.

The People's Committee of Quang Tri province in Central Vietnam on JUly 10 hosted a 2025 business matching conference to connect suppliers from the country's North Central region with foreign distributors operating in the province.
This marked the first large-scale international trade promotion activity held in the locality since the former provinces of Quang Tri and Quang Binh were officially merged on July 1, 2025.
The event attracted 15 international enterprises from China, Japan, Laos, Thailand, the United Kingdom, and the UAE, alongside more than 60 suppliers from localities in su Vietnam's North Central region such as Hue City, and Ha Tinh, Nghe An, and Thanh Hoa provinces.
The region boasts diverse resources, abundant raw materials, and high-quality products that are rich in local cultural identity. This provides a strong foundation for building modern supply chains and developing the processing and export sectors.
However, according to the provincial leadership, for the region's products to penetrate deeper into international markets, close collaboration between domestic producers, local suppliers, and global distribution and consumption channels is essential. This conference was designed to strengthen those very links, opening up opportunities to establish transnational value chains.
A key highlight was the direct business-to-business (B2B) matching program, which facilitated numerous substantive meetings between domestic suppliers and foreign purchasing, distribution, and import-export companies.
The interactions yielded immediate results, with a series of Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) and cooperation agreements signed directly at the conference. These deals pave the way for long-term collaboration in sectors such as agricultural products, wooden furniture, processed goods, and artisanal handicrafts.
