Some 26,000 social houses complete in 6M
The Government aims to build at least 1 million social houses for low-income earners and workers by 2030.
Some 26,000 social houses were complete in the first six months of 2025, according to the latest report from the Ministry of Construction.
In 2023, the Government approved a project to build at least 1 million social houses for low-income earners and workers in industrial parks in the 2021-2030 period.
The ministry has consulted the Government and the Prime Minister to issue many solutions and tasks to tackle difficulties and obstacles facing the implementation of the project.
The report also highlights other achievements of the transport sector in the period, including the urbanization rate of 44.3%; and the total length of complete expressways nationwide exceeding 2,260 km.
