Southern Binh Duong province posts export revenue of $14.8 bln in 5M

Southern Binh Duong province posted export revenue of $14.8 billion in the first five months of 2025, up 9.9% compared to the same period last year, according to the provincial People’s Committee.

In May alone, the export value reached nearly $3.4 billion, a year-on-year increase of 23.3%.

Meanwhile, the province’s import turnover is estimated at $10.5 billion in the five-month period, surging 10% year-on-year.

Other socio-economic indicators of the province also registered positive growth in the five-month period.

Meanwhile, its Index of Industrial Production (IIP) in the period rose 9.22% year-on-year.

In the same period, the province attracted over VND63.4 trillion ($2.42 billion) worth of domestic investment, up 32.7% year-on-year, and $795 million worth of FDI, a 2.3-fold increase compared to the same period last year.
