Bac Giang to attract investors in housing projects
Northern province has approved detailed planning for the construction of three residential areas.
In a move to expand the housing area for local people, the Bac Giang Province People’s Committee has approved detailed construction planning for the central residential area in Lang Giang district’s Dai Lam commune, which is expected to cover 87.5 ha and house 8,000 people.
Two other projects in the northern province’s Viet Yen and Tan Yen districts also received approval for construction of residential areas as part of a master plan to attract investors for the development of residential and urban areas in Tan Yen, Yen The, Luc Nam, Yen Dung, Lang Giang, and Luc Ngan districts.
The province plans to build 748 urban and residential areas and 58 housing projects in the 2021-2025 period.
Housing is expected to cover 17.6 million sq m, with commercial housing projects to account for 7.3 million sq m and social housing 7.6 million sq m, with the remaining 2.7 million sq m to be built by individual households.
Bac Giang will focus on creating a land fund and the necessary conditions to attract investment, and will regularly conduct reviews and inspections to quickly address shortcomings and obstacles, especially in administrative procedures and site clearance.
