Bamboo Airways adds new non-stop service to Gatwick
Tickets now available for carrier’s regular non-stop Hanoi - Gatwick service starting from October 29
Bamboo Airways will launch a regular non-stop service on October 29 connecting Noi Bai International Airport in Hanoi and Gatwick Airport in London with one return flight per week. Modern wide-body Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner will service the route, which takes just over 12 hours, helping passengers save on cost and time compared to transit flights.
In celebration, it is offering tickets on the new route from only 307 GBP inclusive from July 8. Passengers can book online or at ticket offices and agencies of Bamboo Airways nationwide and globally.
According to Mr. Hoang Ngoc Thach, Deputy Chief Commercial Officer at Bamboo Airways, the non-stop Hanoi - Gatwick route is Bamboo Airways’ next effort in serving the UK market in particular and Europe in general. “We hope that Bamboo Airways’ sense of hospitality and international 5-star services bearing Vietnam’s footprint will win European passengers’ hearts as well as the hearts of the Vietnamese diaspora in the UK,” he said.
It is also finalizing procedures to commence a second regular non-stop service to Gatwick from Ho Chi Minh City. “The arrival of Bamboo Airways at Gatwick provides a welcome addition to our operations,” said Mr. Jonathan Pollard, Chief Commercial Officer at Gatwick Airport.
He also noted that Vietnam is a wonderful country, offering a wealth of beautiful sights, including stunning beaches, national parks, temples, and vibrant streets and night markets. “We are delighted that Gatwick passengers can now connect to its capital and beyond so easily, via Bamboo Airways’ excellent network,” he added.
Located in West Sussex, Gatwick Airport is the UK’s second-largest international airport and Europe’s ninth-busiest. It is ideal for international flights to Europe, and linked to over 100 UK towns and cities by direct coach services and other 24/7 means of transport, making it easy for passengers to travel after landing.
Bamboo Airways’ non-stop Hanoi - Gatwick service follows its other commercial routes to Europe, such as Heathrow in the UK and Frankfurt in Germany from the beginning of this year. The airline targets an expansive network of 40 international routes during 2022, including many new services to gateway European airports.
