VnEconomy meets with Thai professor
Meeting with expert from Invest Global focused on digital transformation solutions in Vietnam.

Leaders at VnEconomy / Vietnam Economic Times (VET) met with Professor Peter Palanugool, a senior international expert from the International Investment Promotion Alliance (Invest Global) and the Founder and Chairman of companies within the SOL Group ecosystem in Thailand (SOL Company, Bangkok Assay Office Company, and AD Nano Limited Company), and other representatives from Invest Global in Hanoi on January 22, where they exchanged information on digital transformation solutions in Vietnam.
To help Professor Palanugool understand its editorial office better, representatives from VnEconomy / VET introduced its formation and development as a leading media unit in digital transformation, AI access, and development. It has also recently completed the construction of a Business Media Center (BMC) in Hanoi, which is to become a hub for connecting business activities and hosting global digital events. It will also be a quality conference space, helping businesses meet, discuss strategies, and explore cooperative opportunities.
Professor Palanugool expressed his admiration for the digital transformation initiatives and accomplishments of VnEconomy / VET. He shared his research insights accumulated over the years, focusing on aiding Vietnamese and Asian communities in accessing modern technologies to enhance quality of life. He also presented his concepts for smart city projects, addressing various facets of Vietnam's digitization journey, encompassing smart energy, smart environment, smart living, smart people, smart economy, smart governance, and smart mobility. He has also researched green and sustainable products and solutions within the agriculture sector.
The meeting and exchange were lively, with insightful contributions from both sides. VnEconomy / VET looks forward to having more in-depth discussions with the Professor on the topic of digital transformation solutions in the agricultural sector.
