Hanoi tops the list of the safest places for solo female travelers in Southeast Asia, according to a ranking by the region’s leading online travel site Tripzilla.

“Hanoi is a budget-friendly destination, and you won’t need to worry about costs as a solo traveler,” it highlighted. “A stay in a luxury Hanoi hotel can cost as little as $200, and meals cost around $14 a day. Feel free to pamper yourself while staying in this beautiful city, which is undoubtedly one of the best places to travel alone as a woman in Southeast Asia.”
Hanoi was also named among the 10 most beautiful Southeast Asia destinations by the Travel, a leading tourism website in Canada.
More than 3.7 million tourists, including 535,000 foreigners, visited the capital in the first two months of this year.
