The final of Techfest Vietnam 2022, with the theme “Open Innovation Ecosystem - The Next Big Think”, will take place on December 2 in southern Binh Duong province.

The Top 10 in the final includes the FINAN Co., Ltd, the Tulip Real Estate Financial Services JSC, the Cyberapply Vietnam Company Limited, the Forte Biotech Viet Nam Co., Ltd, the PVA PRO JSC, the HALANA JSC (HALANA), the Vietnam Online Financial Insurance Company Limited (VIFO), the WAREFLEX Vietnam Co., Ltd (WAREFLEX), the DIZIM JSC (DIZIM), and the WESHARE.ASIA Co., Ltd (WESHARE).

The startups in the top 10 have gone through a three-month journey of competing with nearly 500 other projects in intense competitions and training activities, connecting with domestic and foreign experts.

They have the opportunity to receive attractive financial prizes and support packages with a total value of up to $500,000. The winner of the contest will receive prizes with a total value of up to VND200 million ($8,000).

The contest this year also aims to promote innovative solutions from startups in the era of strong technology development, attracting experts, intellectuals, domestic entrepreneurs, and overseas Vietnamese and sparking creative thinking, contributing to promoting the startup ecosystem and contributing to the growth of Vietnam’s economy.

Mr. Lam Quoc Thai, Investment Manager at the DFJ VinaCapital Fund at VinaCapital Ventures and member of the Jury Council, believes that not only the companies that win this year’s award but also all of the startups participating in the contest will contribute to Vietnam’s economy through the digital transformation process to resolve outstanding problems.

There are more than 300 experts, partners, investment funds, and experienced technology advisors in multiple fields and more than 30 Techfest Vietnam 2022 Technology Villages supporting startups throughout the process of participating in the contest.
