Hoan My Saigon Hospital partners with Australia’s Annalise.ai
Partnership to bring cutting-edge technologies to Vietnam to improve patient care.
The Hoan My Saigon Hospital and the AI radiology company Annalise.ai, headquartered in Australia, signed an MoU on April 19 on the research and commercial application of AI in radiology to improve healthcare outcomes for patients.
With a common goal of improving the quality of radiology, the Hoan My Saigon Hospital and Annalise.ai came to a cooperative agreement on the research and application of AI in diagnostic imaging based on two advantages.
First, Annalise.ai has researched and deployed its AI technology across hundreds of leading hospitals and research clinics in Australia, the UK, the US, and Asia. These showed improvements in diagnostic accuracy across patient populations in every country.
Second, the diversity of diseases identified at Hoan My Saigon will allow the hospital to easily access AI, optimize resources, and improve the medical team’s diagnostic capacity through the support of AI, which is the core part of the hospital’s strategy of promoting automation.
Mr. Dimitry Tran, Co-Founder of Harrison.ai and member of the Board of Directors at Annalise.ai, said bringing AI-powered clinician-assisting tools to hospitals such as Hoan My Saigon Hospital is what Annalise.ai’s mission is all about: making healthcare more accessible and equitable for millions of patients. “My hope is that our tools - which act like spellcheckers for medical imaging - will support radiologists across the country and improve diagnosis and patient care for years to come,” he added.
Dr. Dilshaad Ali Bin Abas Ali, Group CEO of the Hoan My Medical Group, said machine learning and big data are key to unlocking the best clinical outcomes. “These technologies will help our doctors make better, more accurate decisions and give them access to insights built on patient data from around the world,” he added. “This partnership is a sign of our mission to be the leading innovative pioneer of private healthcare in Vietnam, giving our doctors the tools to deliver international-standard patient care.”
The signing ceremony was attended by Australian Minister for Trade and Tourism, Senator Don Farrell, Australian Ambassador to Vietnam, H.E. Andrew Goledzinowski, CEO of the Australian Trade and Investment Commission (Austrade), Mr. Xavier Simonet, and other Australian government officials.
Taking place against the backdrop of the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Australia, the MoU represents a new chapter in technology exchange and innovative cooperation between the two countries.
