Vietnam Connect 2023 set to open in Da Nang
VnEconomy forum to discuss green and digital transformation.
The Vietnam Connect 2023 forum, with the theme “Breakthroughs for Central Vietnam, driving twin green and digital transition in sustainable economic growth strategies”, is scheduled to open in central Da Nang city on March 17.
The forum will be co-hosted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, VnEconomy / Vietnam Economic Times, and the Da Nang City People’s Committee.
Discussions will focus on issues relating to green and digital transition and trends, models, and solutions being implemented worldwide and their possible application in Vietnam.
The topic will be analyzed and discussed based on actual issues in cities and provinces in the north-central, central coastal, and central highlands regions, which have been assessed as having significant potential and advantages in developing a marine-based economy, a green maritime economy, renewable energy, tourism, and sustainable agro-forestry.
With such advantages, each locality must proactively promote its strengths and take part in effectively boosting regional connectivity.
The forum is expected to draw the participation of high-ranking officials, representatives from ministries, and leaders of 19 cities and provinces in the north-central, central coastal, and the central highlands region.
Representatives from the World Bank, 20 foreign embassies in Vietnam, and nearly 20 foreign business associations in Vietnam as well as more than 300 FDI businesses and enterprises in Vietnam will also attend.
Following the plenary session of the forum, the ceremony for the Golden Dragon Awards 2023 will then be held, honoring the top 50 outstanding foreign-invested enterprises in Vietnam in 2022-2023.
