19 State-owned corporations gain 9M pre-tax profits of over $2bln
The figure exceeding annual target by 20%.
Total revenue of parent companies of 19 State-owned groups and corporations under the Commission for Management of State Capital at Enterprises (CMSC) is estimated to reach nearly VND971.6 trillion ($38.3 billion) in the first three quarters of 2024, a year-on-year increase of 15%, figures from the CMSC show.
The figure is equal to 83% of the annual plan.
Their pre-tax profit totaled VND50.36 trillion ($2.08 billion), exceeding the annual target by 20%.
The total consolidated equity is estimated at over VND1.53 quadrillion ($60.36 billion) by the end of September.
In terms of oil and petrol, the Vietnam National Oil and Gas Group (PetroVietnam) gained total production output in the nine-month period of 4.9 million tons, equivalent to 84% of the annual plan. Meanwhile, the Petrolimex group registered 11.5 million cu m of oil and petrol.
In the field of transport, the Airports Corporation of Vietnam (ACV) transported 83.52 million passengers and over 1.1 million tons of cargo. Of which, the national flag carrier Vietnam Airlines transported 17.2 million passengers and 225,300 tons of cargo.
