CPI up 0.7% in March

Gasoline prices rose in line with world oil prices, rental prices increased again, and consumer goods and services prices both increased in the first quarter of 2022. According to data released by the General Statistics Office on March 29, the CPI increased 0.7 per cent in March compared to February and 2.41 per cent year-on-year. It increased 1.92 per cent year-on-year in the first quarter.
