Garment and textile export revenue hits $32.5 bln in 9M
Key export markets including the US, China, Japan and Canada.
Vietnam earned $32.5 billion from garment and textile exports in the first nine months of 2024, up 9.2% compared to the same period last year, figures from the Vietnam Textile and Apparel Association show.

The sector set an export revenue target of $44 billion this year.
Mr. Pham Xuan Hong, Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Textile and Garment - Embroidery Association, said export orders of garment and textile enterprises have recovered significantly. In the second half of 2024, the sector’s growth is forecast to increase 15% compared to the first half.
However, many enterprises are facing workforce shortage to meet the increase of orders.
