A Joint Statement on upgrading bilateral ties to Comprehensive Partnership was issued on August 5 as an outcome of Vietnamese President Luong Cuong’s State visit to Egypt between August 3-6.
The bilateral comprehensive partnership was established during Party General Secretary and State President To Lam’s State visit to Mongolia between September 30 - October 1.
At the end of their talks on September 30, top leaders of the two countries issued a joint statement on establishing the Vietnam-Mongolia comprehensive partnership.
