PM holds dialogue with women
Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh chaired a dialogue with Vietnamese women on October 15, with the theme “Promoting gender equality and promoting the role of women in socio-economic development”. The dialogue was held online, from the headquarters of the government to the People’s Committees of cities and provinces. Leaders of ministries, branches, and central agencies answered proposals and recommendations from delegates on three topics: women and economic development; women and issues of social security and gender equality; and women and future generations.

Da Nang promoting investment and tourism cooperation with India
The Da Nang City People’s Committee coordinated with the Consulate General of Vietnam in Mumbai and Indian partners to organize a conference on September 28 connecting Indian businesses with industries and businesses in the central city. Mr. Anant Singhania, President of the Indian Merchants’ Chamber (IMC), emphasized the importance of promoting cooperation between businesses on the two sides. Mr. Ajoykaant Ruia, Chairman of the Indo-Vietnamese Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IVCCI), told the gathering that a cooperative forum between Vietnamese and Indian businesses is expected to be organized in Da Nang next year.

Conference held on boosting science and technology market
Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh chaired the “Developing a synchronous, efficient, modern and integrated science and technology market” conference on September 23, where experts proposed solutions to promote the development of science and technology, such as having policies to encourage technology transfer.

Conference held on Hanoi's housing development program
The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi has held a conference to counter-argue the draft Hanoi Housing Development Program for the 2021-2030 period. Under the draft, Hanoi has set a target that, by 2025, the average residential floor space per capita is to reach 29.5 sq m and 32 sq m by 2030.

PM chairs conference on planning work
Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh chaired a national online conference on planning work on August 19, during which he pointed out the limitations, difficulties, and obstacles in the task. Proposals and solutions to resolve issues and ensure the progress and quality of planning in accordance with the provisions of the Law on Planning were raised by delegates. The Prime Minister also directed that planning be one step ahead, and not local or fragmented.
