Vietnam holds potential in green transformation
According to the “Vietnam Energy Outlook Report” from the Danish Energy Agency (DEA) and the Electricity and Renewable Energy Administration of Vietnam at the Ministry of Industry and Trade and released on June 2, Vietnam holds substantial potential in green transformation but action is needed early so that emissions peak no later than 2035, to avoid excessive costs. The report also suggested that Vietnam needs to act soon to convert fuel and to electrify its transportation sector.
