The Binh Thuan Provincial People’s Committee has approved a housing development plan for the 2021-2025 period that focuses on social housing and housing for workers at industrial parks. The south-central province is striving to have an average housing area of 27 sq m per person by 2025.
The Hai Phong City People’s Committee has issued Decision No. 2455/QD-UBND approving the Housing Development Plan in 2022. The city will set aside 433.19 ha of land in 49 locations to develop social housing projects. Under the plan, it will build more than 605,000 sq m of social housing in the 2021-2025 period.
The housing development plan for south-central Khanh Hoa province in the 2021-2025 period has been approved by the Provincial People’s Committee. The total housing area will increase by at least 5.3 million sq m by 2025, equivalent to more than 51,200 houses. More than VND48.8 trillion ($2.14 billion) in capital is needed to implement the plan.
Ho Chi Minh City aims to increase its total housing floor space by at least 50 million sq m in the 2021-2025 period, with the area per capita to be at least 23.5 sq m by 2025. It needs nearly VND567 trillion ($24.5 billion) in investment and 974 ha of land to achieve the targets.
According to its housing development plan for the 2020-2025 period, south-central Binh Dinh province will develop more than 11 million sq m of residential housing, with capital of nearly VND74 trillion ($3.27 billion) required. To implement the plan, 12 new housing projects have recently been added.
