On the morning of November 13, the National Assembly (NA) voted to approve a Resolution allowing the establishment of the Hue Heritage Conservation Fund. The fund will be used to invest in the restoration, preservation, and development of heritage values in the former imperial capital and works receiving no investment or inadequate investment from the State budget.
The Ministry of Planning and Investment has proposed four groups of solutions to mobilize VND10 trillion ($434.78 million) each year to develop central Thua Thien-Hue province to 2030 with a vision to 2045. The four solutions are for revenue from tourism attractions to go to the provincial budget, the establishment of the Hue Heritage Conservation Fund, increasing the loan balance, and revenue from arranging and handling housing facilities staying in the province.
