Hanoi strengthens land management
The Hanoi People’s Committee has issued a document on strengthening State management over land, including inspections and examinations of the management and use of land. It will receive dossiers to settle administrative procedures, ensure the timely return of documents, and review any unreasonable procedures in land transactions that create problems for businesses and individuals.

Hanoi strengthening land management
The Hanoi People’s Committee has recently issued Document No. 2807/UBND-TNMT on strengthening land management. A plan for the 2021-2030 period and vision to 2050 is to be completed shortly and submitted to competent authorities for approval, with strict management and control over land auctions.

Hai Phong to tighten land management
The Chairman of the Hai Phong City People’s Committee has requested the urgent implementation of a project to strengthen land management and build a land database throughout the city, with completion before 2025.

Shortcomings remain in land management and construction
State Audit of Vietnam carried out many audits last year, including those on planning management and construction licensing in urban areas in the 2017-2020 period. According to the results, announced on July 1, there remain many shortcomings in land and construction management in localities, such as loose planning, inefficient management and use of land, and inappropriate conversion of land use purposes.

Workshop looks at land management and use
The Vietnam Central Economic Commission and the Central Theoretical Council jointly organized a workshop on “Perspectives and orientations on land management and use in Vietnam in the new context”. The focus is on perfecting land use and management institutions in sync with the socialist-oriented market economy institutions; renovating planning work; strengthening the prevention and fight against corruption and negativity in land management and use; accelerating digital transformation; and building a unified and modern national land information system and database.
