Northern Lang Son province and the Sun Group began construction of the Mau Son cable car and eco-tourism complex at Mau Son Peak in Loc Binh district on May 20. This is a key project within the Mau Son tourism development roadmap to 2030 to become a national tourist site. The project is expected to be completed in 2025, with 5 million visitors targeted by 2030.
Economic activities at the Lang Son border gate economic zone in northern Lang Son province, which shares a border with China’s Guangxi province, together with methodical investment in local infrastructure, traffic, and tourism will create opportunities for land adjacent to the border gate to attract investment.
The Lang Son Provincial People’s Committee has approved the zoning plan to build two projects: the Mau Son Mountain eco-urban area and service destination, and a tourist center in the west of Mau Son commune. The two projects have a total area of more than 858 ha.
