A Draft Law on Electronic Transactions is receiving consultation from the Ministry of Information and Communications (MoIC) for finalization and submission to the government. The Draft was discussed by experts at a seminar organized by the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) and MoIC on July 14.
The revised Law on Electronic Transactions will be submitted to the National Assembly (NA) at its next session, which is aimed at overcoming obstacles and inadequacies in implementation. This will also help promulgate new and appropriate policies; promote reliable, safe electronic transactions in line with international practices, to implement the digital transformation process faster and more effectively; and develop digital government, the digital economy, and digital society.
