The Ministry of Health (MoH) has proposed introducing a policy adjusting the basic salary of medical staff while increasing allowances. This would address health workers leaving the sector or moving from public health facilities to private facilities.
Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has asked that the Ministry of Health minimize cumbersome administrative procedures that create difficulties in the procurement of pharmaceuticals, equipment, and biological products for medical examinations and treatment, and to introduce the most favorable conditions possible for enterprises trading in pharmaceuticals and medical equipment.
The Ministry of Health issued a document to authorities in cities and provinces on July 30 on mobilizing private healthcare centers to participate in Covid-19 prevention and control efforts.
