Vietnam received nearly 2 million doses of AstraZeneca vaccine on October 15, of which 1.1 million from South Korea and 887,700 doses came from Poland. Poland previously donated 501,600 doses of AstraZeneca vaccine to Vietnam, while South Korea is discussing the possibility of providing another 100,000 doses.
The Polish Government has delivered over 500,000 doses of the AstraZeneca vaccine to the Ministry of Health, which will soon be distributed to localities.
The Polish Government has decided to donate more than 501,000 doses of the AstraZeneca vaccine to Vietnam and has ceded 3 million additional doses and donated medical equipment and supplies worth $4 million. Vietnam is the first non-European country to which Poland has provided vaccines and medical equipment.
