Tien Giang to have 27 industrial clusters on ​​over 1,000 hectares
Under the industrial development planning of the Mekong Delta’s Tien Giang province to 2020 and vision to 2030, it plans to have 27 industrial clusters on an area of over 1,000 ha. Five industrial clusters - Trung An, Tan My Chanh, Song Thuan, An Thanh, and Gia Thuan 1 - are now in operation on an area of nearly 159 ha.

Tien Giang proposes expanding Trung Luong - My Thuan Expressway
Despite being put into operation in August, the Trung Luong - My Thuan Expressway, which is part of the East North - South Expressway passing through the Mekong Delta’s Tien Giang province, is already showing signs of overloading. The Tien Giang Provincial People’s Committee has therefore proposed expanding the expressway using State budget capital.

PM approves construction of expressway through Dong Thap and Tien Giang provinces
The Prime Minister has signed Decision No. 769/QD-TTg approving the construction of the Cao Lanh - An Huu Expressway, first phase, with a length of 27.43 km through the Mekong Delta’s Tien Giang and Dong Thap provinces and investment of nearly VND5.9 trillion ($253 million) from the State budget. Once completed in 2027, the expressway will be part of a horizontal axis and expressway and highway network in the Delta.

Construction of new Mekong Delta bridge set to begin
Construction of the Rach Mieu 2 Bridge, which connects Tien Giang and Ben Tre provinces with other Mekong Delta localities, will begin at the end of March and be completed after four years. The bridge and approach roads stretch 17.5 km in total, with investment of over VND5 trillion ($219.5 million), from the State budget.
